Kyle Rudolph is staying in Minnesota for the Long Run.
On the eve of training camp, the Vikings and the tight end have agreed to terms on a four-year, $36 million expansion, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported, a source informed.
“I’m honored beyond words to state my home, our home will always be in Minnesota,” the 29-year-old posted on Twitter.Rudolph supported weeks ago the team gave him a five-year contract expansion and both sides were working to solve the situation.
The contract extension retains him in Minnesota to help tutor Irv Smith, who the group drafted in the second round of the draft.
