While today aim is to provide knowledge and information, so much in the future may be more meaningful skills development of knowledge management and information retrieval. With the development of electronic media and other forms of communication, the burden of providing knowledge and information will be transferred outside the walls of the school and will rest primarily on educators, educational organizations and the media. The term edutainment we understand such actions, which are primarily aimed at education, and a form of entertainment is the only way to hide the message more attractive or educational. Nowadays it is believed that the value of edutainment is that it is a tool for the implementation of a specific strategy for social change, eg. The development of health education, raise awareness of ecological, or economic. We can distinguish edutainment in a broader and narrower sense. In the first sense we can talk about all forms of activities that are designed for educational purposes and use a certain form of entertainment to pass the specific content of a defined audience. In this sense, edutainment is also a theatrical drawing attention to the problem of AIDS, Radio BIS Science Picnic Festival or Science, or cinema productions like “Microcosm” and “Makrokosmos – Sky dance.” Edutainment in the narrower sense is any action combining education with entertainment, which use the mass media as the primary channel of communication with the customer. The effectiveness stems mainly from the fact that minds are more open to educational message when the recipient does not realize that at the moment they are learning. Polish experience on a large scale edutainment was used in 2005-2007 by the Polish National Bank in the framework of activities undertaken in the field of economic education. NBP activities are addressed to students of middle and high schools, students, and also to persons who by virtue of his position or profession transmit knowledge to others, eg. Teachers, lecturers, journalists, priests.
