Liverpool expanded their ideal start to the season with victory but Manchester City kept up the pressure.
Pep Guardiola’s side defeat the Hornets 8-0 that are fighting nevertheless stay five points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, who won.
While Leicester defeat Sheffield United along with Tottenham 2-1 picked up an amazing 2-0 away win at Everton, elsewhere, Manchester United lost.
Here is my team of the week – have a browse and choose your very own below.
Adrian: The Liverpool stand in goalkeeper appears to get better every time I see him. The rescue from Tammy Abraham in the early exchanges of the game was as good if not as critical as it receives. The Spanish keeper then came to get a cross and plucked the ball from the air with supreme confidence.
It was the first-half functionality that provided the platform to Liverpool to go on and win this game of Adrian. Chelsea, on the other hand, had enough chances to come away with a point but also many gamers fluffed their lines.
It’s a bad indication for the rest of the league, when not playing well when Liverpool start winning games.
Did you know? Adrian hasn’t surrendered more than in any of the past nine Premier League appearances, finishing about the winning side at eight of those games (one draw).
Ricardo Pereira: If full-backs have a desire for moving deep to the heart of the opposition’s penalty area, not only do they capture my eye but I begin to take them. Ricardo Pereira is one particular player.
He’s not afraid to put herself up and adventurous and quick at the box of the team. He took his goal well and at a period that was vital .
As for Tottenham; they are offended by matters that really shouldn’t affect them. They’ve experienced more than their fair share of great fortune in which VAR is concerned and as soon as the technology moves against them they should be in a position to fix just as quickly as when it is in their favour.
Did you know? The Ricardo Pereira of leicester scored his third goal – all three have arrived at the King Power Stadium.
Nathan Ake: The shot of Nathan Ake suspended in Attacks buried that a bullet header past Angus Gunn in the goal of Southampton and with attacked a group piece was a picture.
It was not only Bournemouth’s first goal in a historic win from the south coast rivals but a clear sign that the Cherries meant business.
I don’t know what Ake would price to buy him back but if I was them I would seriously consider it.
Did you know? Eight of the 11 Premier League goals of Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake are scored from corners, such as seven of the last eight at the competition.
Fabian Schar: The processor by Aaron Connolly was a goal and it had something very special from a guardian. That moment of magical came.
The clearance off the line by Schar might, come the conclusion of the season, be Steve along with Newcastle Bruce’s lifeline.
Did you know? Since the start of last year, Newcastle have won 43 percent of their Premier League matches when Fabian Schar has begun (12/28), compared to only 6% when he has not (1/16).
Chris Basham: I might have selected anyone in the Sheffield United back three but I have gone for Chris Basham.
The 31-year-old is no spring chicken but if it comes to defenders winning headers, placing his body on the line and remaining cool under pressure, then he’s the guy.
This was. When you place players on enormous salaries you’re entitled to large performances and too many players in blue aren’t justifying their earnings.
Did you know? No Sheffield United participant has made more cubes than Chris Basham (four) from the Premier League this season.
James Maddison: Alas we have found another player whose first thought is can I play not and forward backward or sideways. James Maddison is quickly making a name for himself as a player that believes of the forward first rather than himself.
If Maddison can find Jamie Vardy on a football pitch that he will and without a moment’s hesitation. I’m tired and sick of stats that tell me this a midfielder has made the most moves when they’ve spent the huge portion of the game going from side to side and backward.
Maddison’s moves can cut via a defence such as a knife through butter and that is why I am convinced this lad can go all the way. Read about what I have to say about Maddison at the Crooks of the Matter below.
Did you know? Since netting versus Huddersfield in April the James Maddison of leicester ended a run of 31 shots in the Premier League with no target.
Kevin de Bruyne: Kevin de Bruyne had delivered Watford their blow along with There wasn’t any longer than 60 minutes on the clock.
The chunk in the Belgian genius for David Silva to home murdered the stone deceased. What followed was complete and total humiliation.
The pass that imposed this deadly wound was so deliberate and exact there wasn’t one Watford guardian prepared to get it for fear of putting the ball into his own net.
In fact Craig Dawson was so paralysed by the rate and precision of the pass into the six yard area he froze as if he was struck by the ice-cream! At that point Watford understood the match was over and it was down to this new’baby-faced assassin’.
Did you know? Since his Man City introduction in September 2015, Kevin de Bruyne has provided greater Premier League assists than any other player (52).
Bernardo Silva: Ordinarily you can not score a hat-trick, not get in my TOTW but I must declare that the main reason for choosing Bernardo Silva is as it gives me a couple more paragraphs to speak about De Bruyne.
With this time Manchester City have been 6-0 up and uncontrolled while De Bruyne continued to mercilessly inflict the most brutal passes on the traffic. Silva finished his hat-trick courtesy of yet another fatal missile out of De Bruyne who was not only intent on reaping absolute and total devastation on Watford but decided to lace their own defeat utter embarrassment.
Did you know? Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva scored his first top-flight hat-trick in what is his 178th appearance across the English, French and Portuguese top tiers.
Mark Noble: After West Ham beat Manchester United something quite strange tends to be going on.
The Hammers ceased United from winning the title on the final day of the year in 1995; while Carlos Tevez kept West Ham in the Premier League away at Old Trafford at 2007. What took place in the London Stadium was equally spooky.
Mark Noble spearheaded a famous victory from a Manchester United side who looked in disarray and lead by a supervisor who is beginning to look from his depth.
Whatever opinion you might have for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United isn’t a club for novices.
Did you know? West Ham have won 47 percent of the Premier League games when Mark Noble has started under Manuel Pellegrini (15/32), compared to just 18 percent when he hasn’t (2/11).
Roberto Firmino: I think VAR is going to be the death of us all in the end. Nevertheless, Liverpool utilized the technology in particular for their benefit and Roberto Firmino.
There is not any doubt in my head when VAR comes into actions a single group suffers along with another benefits a massive benefit.
While Chelsea were suffering from VAR’s discovery which Mason Mount’s big toe was offside the Brazil international took full advantage of this situation and put the match outside of the Blues.
This wasn’t a classic Liverpool operation but VAR can not stop a team from winning ugly.
Did you know? Roberto Firmino was directly engaged in 10 goals in his last 11 Premier League matches for Liverpool, scoring five and helping five.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Arsenal find themselves at the best four and it is down to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Since his birth at the Emirates he has rescued Arsenal’s often abject performances and forced them more palatable. Their match against a plucky Aston Villa who seem to be adapting to life at the Premier League, though it may be a bit too slow to survive in the Premier League, was bad and they rely over the global.
I’ve seen this before when managers utilize strikers as a get out of jail card and the second the striker’s objectives dry up they are the first from the door. Aubameyang is owed by arsenal and if he is struggling, and he can, give him a little latitude.
Did you know? Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 16 goals in his last 16 games across all contests for Arsenal, such as in each of the last four matches in a row (five goals).
You’ve seen my choices this year. However, that would you opt for?

When is a rucksack not a rucksack? If it prices #6,500!
James Maddison caused a little stir from the BBC Green Room when he was seen sporting his brand new Louis Vuitton rucksack. The thing looked very interesting not least as we could see everything in it.
I had just arrived for Score in the BBC studios to listen to a galaxy of star pundits. I had only arrived and hearing a carrier bag was picked up by the fuss and requested the pundits what was international with the carrier luggage I was now holding in my hand?
It was hardy, kept a certain discretion and was cheap although I admit that it didn’t look sophisticated. I requested my fellow pundits would Maddison have made the exact same sort of interest had he arrived with my carrier bag at his hands – much to the entertainment of everyone.
I believe a plastic carrier bag being carried by Maddison with his designer fragrance, unique toothbrush and hair dryer could have caused controversy.
There’s nothing fresh in professional footballers making style statements; they’re entitled to pay it anyway they select and nightclubs pay them the cash. However there’s a price to be paid, as much as the public is worried, for this type of showmanship and it might prove be very costly.
Players who make statements have to ask themselves is it a price worth payingfor?
