Brighton fans facing bans for racism at Tottenham games

Brighton will hand out three supporters following events of racism at the Amex Stadium prohibits.
Two supporters also had their information forwarded to Sussex Police for additional investigation and were ejected from the stadium with an U23s game against Tottenham each month.
Another person was removed and arrested during Saturdays Premier League fixture against exactly the identical side. Other Albion fans reported both events.
A statement on the clubs website read:Three Brighton and Hove Albion fans are facing extended bans and potential criminal charges, following two different incidents of racism during recent matches at the Amex.
Brighton chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber said:Its very hard to comprehend why some people think its okay to behave in this way, however we are very clear that neither Brighton and Hove Albion, nor the broader
Football community, will tolerate racism or discrimination at any time.
its extremely reassuring that in both events our stewards were alarmed to this totally improper conduct by other Albion enthusiasts as well as working with Sussex Police, our employees were able to take speedy action, which hopefully will increase the chances of a conviction.
We do not want people exhibiting any type of discriminatory or anti-social behaviour inside our arena, and Id love to thank people Albion fans for reporting the events to us when they discovered it.
We would urge any fans confronted with similar discriminatory behaviour to report it either directly into a steward or via our anonymous hotline, and we will take strong action.
